Left Center Right Dice Game Rules | How to Play LCR Step by Step

Objective: Be the last player with chips remaining in your hand to win the entire center pot.

Setup

• Each player starts with 3 chips of any color.
• Players sit in a circle. Designate a starting player.
• Place the 3 LCR dice in the center of the table within reach of all players.

Turn Sequence

1. Roll Phase: On your turn, roll as many dice as you have chips — up to a maximum of 3 dice. If you have fewer than 3 chips, roll only that many dice.
2. Resolve Results:
   • L (Left): Pass 1 chip to the player on your left.
   • R (Right): Pass 1 chip to the player on your right.
   • C (Center): Place 1 chip into the center pot — it is out of play for the rest of the round.
   • Dot (•): Keep your chip — no action required for that die.
3. Pass Turn: After resolving all dice results, the turn passes clockwise to the next player.
4. Zero Chips: If you have no chips, you are still in the game — you simply skip your roll until a chip is passed to you from another player.

Winning

The last player with at least 1 chip remaining wins the game and collects all chips from the center pot!
